Staple Items
You always want to incorporate ‘Staple Items’ into your wardrobe. Clothing such as jackets, pants, and shoes are a must to ‘splurge’ on. Be willing to spend money on your ‘Staple Items’ because you will be getting a lot of use out of them.

Jackets
As the weather gets warmer, start looking for a lightweight jacket that is versatile. This past season, fur-trimmed jackets with fur around the collar, hood, or all-over as well as leather bomber jackets were extremely popular. While the fur may be too warm, the Bomber jacket is a great choice. Bomber jackets are huge, in all different colors. It's important that the jacket is fitted and well tailored, which is what is so great about Bomber’s! Be creative this season, bombers are being made in various lightweight fabrics that are an exceptional addition to any wardrobe.

When you find a great jacket it will get you through the season with flying fashionable colors. If you find the right jacket, you will love it and live in it!

Pants
This season is all about fresh, new, fashion ideas. Look for ‘unusual’ style pants that are out of the ordinary.

Wide leg pants in fresh spring colors are a definite MUST! Wide leg pants are a classic, gorgeous, fashion DO! Make sure they are long enough for a pair of heels too! Wide leg long pants lengthen the legs and turn you into an instant goddess!

Be creative with your style this spring, try colors that you wouldn’t usually try. If you’ve never tried the color on, how do you know how it looks on you? It could be gorgeous and you just don’t know it!

Jeans are always a ‘Staple’ item and they can last you from season to season! The trouble is finding the jean that works for YOU. ‘7 For All Mankind’ and ‘Citizen of Humanity’ make gorgeous jeans. The length is great, cut is great, and the denim is of true quality. They make any toosh look wonderful! While the price may scare some away ($110.00-$185.00) they are worth it, you will wear them to the ground! You will NEVER go back to generic denim again, I promise you!

Shoes
A great pair of shoes is crucial. You want to make sure that while they are stylish, they are also comfortable and reasonable. You don’t want to depend on a pair of stiletto’s to be walking around in for 8 hours. It’s a good idea to bring a pair of cute flats to change into if you are on your feet all day. Make sure you aren’t wearing high heels everyday. It will take a toll on your knees in just a matter of years.

Assure that the shoe is of quality and has a long life ahead of it. A good quality shoe will be both stylish and comfortable.

Are you as attached to your pointy-toed stilettos as I am? No need to put them aside, simply bring bright color to your favorite style of shoe! A shocking turquoise, yellow, or pink is a definite DO for the season.
