Skin Care Index EXERCISE & EAT RIGHT Include plenty of fruits and vegetables into your balanced diet. Drinking plenty of water is also a great way of clearing up your skin and changing it from the inside out. Try switching the morning latte with a bottle of water. Water is shown to energize too! Too much caffeine causes breakouts and leads to a dull complexion. Another great way of helping your skin from the inside out is to find a terrific hair/skin/nails vitamin. Your skin will be gorgeous and radiant, and your hair and nails will grow and be stronger than ever! EXFOLIATE BODY CARE Weekly baths are necessary to relax and re-energize you! Give yourself a break and soak for a few, light some candles, and of course don’t forget the mood music. Prepare to be relaxed! There are also great products on the market targeted for clearing up the skin while soaking in the tub. Check them out; it’s a great way to get gorgeous skin while you’re relaxing! TANNING While it’s proven that an individual needs at least 15 minutes of sunlight a day to be healthy and happy, do it safe ladies! SPF is a must; baby oil is a big N-O, NO! If you want a gorgeous, caramel tan, find a GREAT self-tanner and you will appreciate the tender care you gave it years from now! There are plenty on the market that can give a natural, deep-looking, tan, opt for those rather than the ‘baking beds.’ Remember...what you're born with is often more gorgeous than attempting to look like a freshly baked brownie...but if you enjoy a lovely sun-kissed look, go for it! But, do it safely! DANGER! BEWARE OF THE FOLLOWING! Avoid specific blemish creams that focus on drying out your skin, if you DO use these products, ONLY use a small amount on the specific problem area, lightly rub in a circular motion and leave it alone, don’t irritate the blemish. The products that focus on drying out pimples can sometimes lead to dry patches, even on oily skin, so be careful. ** Never pick at your skin, it can lead to unsightly scars and you will regret it! |
